The Curved Melon Totems are created with different colours of ceramic melon shaped objects which are stacked on top of each other. Being moulded from several real melons and then cast, the ceramic melons have been shaped by hand during the drying process leaving the oval shapes bumped and dented.

The various melons visualise different stages of the organic process of rotting.
